Yomep Privacy Policy

1. Core Commitments

Yomep is designed with “privacy by design” principles and aligns with the data protection rules of the United States (including California), Canada, Singapore, Australia, the European Economic Area, and other regions where we operate.

2. Information We (Do Not) Collect

No personal data collection. Yomep does not collect, store, or transmit the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, IDs, or any profile details.
• Photos, videos, or other media content processed in the App.
• Account credentials, because Yomep operates without user accounts.

Local-only operational data. To make the App work, the following data is processed solely on your device and never leaves it:

• Pixel data from the photo being edited (kept in memory only during the session).
• Preference settings such as filter strength or interface choices.
• Virtual currency balance and transaction tokens for in-app purchases stored locally.

Payment flows. When you buy premium content, Apple handles the payment. We never receive your credit card number. Apple may share basic purchase confirmations (e.g., product ID, success status) so we can deliver what you purchased.

3. Permission Usage

We request the minimum system permissions needed for core features:

• Camera: for real-time preview and capture. Frames are processed directly on your device.
• Photo Library Read: to import existing photos you select.
• Photo Library Write: used only when you explicitly choose to save an edited photo.

You can revoke permissions anytime via your device settings. The App will gracefully degrade for features that require ungranted permissions.

4. How We Use Local Data

Without cloud accounts or uploads, local data is used strictly to:

• Render beauty, repair, and filter effects.
• Persist on-device preferences for smoother future sessions.
• Fulfill in-app purchases by unlocking virtual credits/effects.

We do not:

• Serve targeted ads or build marketing profiles.
• Sell, rent, or trade any user data.
• Embed third-party analytics SDKs that track you across apps.

5. Storage & Security

• All Yomep data stays on your device’s secure storage or memory.
• Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes all stored information.
• We do not operate user-content servers, which eliminates remote breach risk.

Yomep is intended for users aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information, please contact us so we can assist within 15 business days.

8. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect legal requirements or product changes. Significant updates will be highlighted in-app, and the “Last Updated” date above will always show the current version. Continued use of Yomep after an update constitutes acceptance.
